She has another medal to hang up.

I fully admit it. I LOVE being a softball mom. Is it expensive? Yes. Is it time consuming? Yes. Do I have to deal with a moody daughter if they lose? Yes. Would I trade it for anything in the world? Hell no. Watching my kiddo on the field, in the dugout, behind the plate, in the batter’s box, it brings me joy. See her hard work pay off. Watching her bond with teammates. It’s priceless.

While they came so close to winning the whole tournament, they were just one run short. Her team came in second place in the tournament, which means another medal, another t-shirt, and another fulfilling weekend.

I’m one proud mama.
