When he says, “I’ll only be there for an hour,” that really means 5.

Shortly after the bf came home from work, he said he was going over to his friend’s house. Every time he goes over there, and I do mean EVERY TIME, he’s gone until bed time. Even when he insists it’ll only be an hour, I know better.

I was so busy today. I’ve been prepping for a BIG meeting this week. A meeting about a brand new project that I am leading. Considering how prepared I insist on being, and my perfectionism, it’s been a lot. I worked, practically, non-stop until almost 6pm. Then, I had to go pick up my daughter and her bf from the High School basketball game. Then, she insisted on going to Olive Garden with him on a date… I, of course, was not welcome. So, for an hour, I went shopping at Michael’s and Marshall’s. I got some canvases that were on sale, and Marshall’s was having a huge clearance event, so alls well.

As expected, the bf was not home when we got home after 9. In fact, he didn’t come home until almost 11. I’m not even a little surprised.
