Father’s Day

I have the best Dad.

Seriously. My dad is awesome. Since moving back to California in 2005, I’ve come to realize that I was raised by the wrong parent. Granted, my dad has his issues when I was young, and I didn’t tell him the full extent of the crazy I was living with, but I know that I’ve always been his priority. He’s been such a positive light in my life and I couldn’t be luckier to have him. He makes sure that both my kiddo and I know that we are his world. I can’t imagine my life without him.

As soon as we came back from the coast, I immediately went to the store to get ingredients to make my dad dinner…. homemade, from scratch, lasagna. Two hours later, the kiddo and I were off to the parents house. We had salad, lasagna, fresh garlic bread, and lemon cake for dessert. I only hope that he knows that he means more to me than anyone, other than my kiddo.

I know how lucky I am to have him.
