From sunrise to sunset

It’s getting to be that time of year. The days are getting shorter. Which means I leave for work at sunrise and don’t come home until sunset.

Driving into work this morning, the sky was beautiful. A nice gradient from yellow to orange to grey to blue, with a little pink and purple with the few clouds there were. The sky was the same on the way home, but on the opposite side.

This is a 12x24, I have it displayed here horizontally, just because it’s easier, but it’s really meant to be vertical from the black on top to the yellow on the bottom. I was inspired by the sky today. As just a gradient, it looked okay, but kind of boring. So, I added paint splatter with the colors going in the opposite direction.
