Back tattoo

Some people jump out of planes to get their adrenaline fix, I get tattoos.

Today, I got to finish the first part of my back piece. I need to draw the top half still, but it’s looking absolutely amazing, so far. Amazing and freaking PAINFUL. If I had known just how bad my back would hurt, I’m not sure I would’ve planned an entire back piece. Not sure if it’s my fibro, or if it’s because I can’t watch (so I don’t know what’s happening) or a combo, but my back has been the most painful tattoo I’ve had yet… and I have both feet and one that wraps around my achilles heel.

Robert tried to add numbing cream, but for whatever reason, it didn’t work today. Reminds me of when I was in labor with the kiddo. When I finally caved (after 20 hours) and agreed to the epidural, that bastard only worked on the right side of my body. Which meant, I felt EVERYTHING on the left. A lot of good that did. Thankfully, there wasn’t a whole lot to finish today, so it was quick.

Now I’m the girl with a full back tattoo… almost.
