Ten years

A decade is a long time.

It’s official. The boyfriend and I have been together for a decade. He’s the longest relationship I’ve had. We’ve been through many ups and downs, had good times and bad, but we’re still here.

We drove the 4 hours to our favorite coastal town. Checked into our hotel. Then had an amazing, and fancy dinner at the harbor. We then went back to our room and had amazing strawberry cheesecake. (What did you think I was going to say? Get your mind out of the gutter.) Then watched Unsolved Mysteries, because we’re romantic like that.

The best part? He handed me a box and said that I, “deserve this for dealing with him for the last ten years.” When I opened it… it was a trophy. No kidding. He got me an award for lasting this long. I couldn’t stop laughing.

Here’s to the next decade.
