It’s a day of new ideas.
Yesterday, we went to the “craft store that shall not be named” looking for things for the fundraiser. While we were there, Amanda’s daughter went down the jewelry making isles. BIG MISTAKE… SO. MUCH. CLEARANCE. And we’re not talking little clearance. No. We’re talking things that were originally $15 no marked down to $1.24. So, we may have gone a little crazy. Maybe just a little…. Okay, okay. We went REALLY crazy.
In our defense, we decided that we are going to have a booth at all of the craft fairs this year. We’ll sell her crocheted stuffed animals, my paintings, and now, jewelry. Plus, there’s the added bonus of now I get to sort and organize. I’m in hog heaven!
This afternoon, I went over to Amanda’s house because her and her hubby wanted me to help design their FIRST tattoos. Yep, FIRST! Seeing as how that I a.) have more tattoos than I can count AND b.) have drawn all of my own tattoos, they trust me. Hey, it’s only a permanent thing going on their skin for the rest of their life. No pressure. I was able to get his done, fairly quickly. But Amanda? She’s being difficult. She broke my brain and we’re going to have to revisit that one at a later date. After my brain heals.
All-in-all, it was a creative day.
