WTF is wrong with people today???

The day started out all well and good. I spent 5 hours at the therapist. My favorite one, the one that applies permanent ink to my skin… Okay, I went to the tattoo shop. Same thing.

After, I picked up my daughter from her dad’s. I could tell right away that she wasn’t feeling good. So instead of taking her with me grocery shopping, I took her home so she could sleep. Then I went to Michael’s, they were having some awesome clearance things going on. After, I stopped by Marshall’s, found a pure Cynthia Crowley 100% 2-ply cashmere sweater for $30 and got the boyfriend his favorite gummy bears. I had to stand in line forever, but it was worth it. Then to the grocery store.

On the way home from the grocery store, it seemed like fate was trying to involve me in an accident. She failed, but not by much. First, this teenager wasn’t paying attention, didn’t even pause as she turned into our lane almost into the minivan beside me. Then, another teenager completely ignored a stop sign as he turned, almost making the car in swerved in front of rear end him. Right after that, I was at the stoplight, crossing the highway before I get to my neighborhood, and when the light turned green, I heard a noise that sounded like a freight train. It was a semi truck doing about 70 as he blew through the red light. As I started to proceed, a woman in an SUV almost did the same, but braked. If she wouldn’t have, she would’ve T-Boned my driver’s side and you would not be hearing from me again. Still in shock from that, we were approached the last stop sign before my neighborhood when the car in front of me ignored that and almost collided with the car that actually had the right of way.

Then the boyfriend and I went out to dinner. The initial restaurant we were planning on was packed and we wouldn’t have made it before it closed. Turns out there was a large group that had a bunch of go-carts and dirt bikes that were taking up all of the tables. We decided on restaurant 2. When we pulled in there were three cops taking statements outside from a few workers. Don’t know what happened, but decided we didn’t want to know. Went to restaurant number 3. Line out the door. Fourth times a charm? We ended up at Red Robin, “Yummmmm”. On the way home, I noticed it’s a full moon. While I don’t usually believe in that stuff, I might make an exception.

I need to move.
