I love football. LOVE it. I have bled 49ers Red and Gold my entire life. Even when living in Western Pennsylvania, I’ve always been a member of the Niner Nation. When I met my boyfriend, the first question I asked was, “Who’s your football team.” I could never date anyone who wasn’t a 49ers fan. I get so competitive that discussing football with someone who is NOT a Niners fan, will immediately elevate my blood pressure.

Today is Monday Night Football and the Niners take on the Rams… a division rival. A team I must despise.

When I grabbed for my colors, I grabbed my red and gold, with a little brown and black in there for good measure. I really like how the gold leafing went this morning, so I tried it again, and this time with some red. The lines weren’t planned, but they just felt right. I really like how it turned out, as does my daughter. So, I think I’m going to frame it for her tomorrow.
