Pain in the neck

This neck pain can’t be normal.
Having fibromyalgia, pain is just a part of life. I’ve been in a constant state of pain since I was around 16. The only thing that changes is the level of intensity. The majority of my pain is concentrated in my back and neck, which is the primary cause of my migraines. I also have pain in my knees, hands, elbows, and wrists, but to a lesser degree. As I’ve gotten older, the pain has only gotten more intense.
In the past couple of years, simple movements can trigger a pulled or strained muscle. I know that if I did more (or any) yoga, the frequency would most likely decrease. I’ve been taken out of commission for days by the simplest of movements… grabbing a towel while getting out of the shower - that sent me to Urgent Care and took me out for almost a week, picking up a clothes basket - that took me out for 3 or 4 days, yawning (yes, I’m serious) - that was about a day… you get the picture. Well, since going to Universal Studios on the 4th, almost three weeks ago, my neck hasn’t been the same.
Today was my 5th visit to the Chiropractor in a little over 2 weeks. He does all of the adjustments, tells me the same thing, “Heat, lacrosse ball on the trigger point, then ice,” and I’ve been complying, all to no avail. The worst pain comes from getting into my car. I drive a sedan, and I’m not short (5’8”), and the simple act of sitting and bending my neck to get in, causes the worst sharp pains. The chiropractor says that there’s “more movement” and I should start seeing significant improvement soon, but I’m starting to lose patience. I’m no doctor, but I’m starting to think I tore something.
This getting old nonsense is for the birds.
