Ink Therapy

I got my aggression out, today.

I saw my therapist and he gave me this awesome treatment using ink and needles… okay, so I got another tattoo. You say tattoo, I say therapy. Tomato, tomato. Seriously though, my tattoo artist may as well be my therapist. I’ve been going to him for about a decade now. He’s awesome. Not only does he do great work, but he’s also one of the nicest guys… if he likes you. Fortunately, he likes me.

Ah, fresh ink.

We had my fifth, I think, session for my, seemingly never ending, back piece. For some reason, my left side is almost intolerable so we used numbing cream on my back. I hate admitting I used it but if we didn’t, I’d have about an hour max before I’d tap out. While we waited for that to take effect (it takes about an hour), he was awesome enough to do a little one on my left arm (sans numbing cream, of course). What did I get? Well, if you’ve been reading my latest blog posts, it should come as no surprise. Sleep Token’s logo. I put it on the arm with my other band logos. I currently have Nine Inch Nails, Tool, and Rammstein. Next on that arm is an octopus tentacle bracelet that curls up to reveal the A Perfect Circle logo.

Oh, and did I mention that he also happens to be a massage therapist? So, not only did I get some fresh ink, but he also managed to get that damned knot out that’s made my last few days pure hell.

Ink therapy really is the best.
