This studio really is my sanctuary.
After getting home from my kiddo’s softball practice, I decided to swing by the pharmacy to see if I could pick up my meds, and then head over to my studio to do some more painting. Things did not quite go according to plan. Especially when I got to said pharmacy and couldn’t find my wallet, anywhere. Because my meds require an ID to pick up, without my wallet, I am forced to continue going without. I called my kiddo to have her search the living room. Since I know she was the last one to touch my wallet (at the festival last night), I was none too happy with her.
I gave up and decided to just go straight to my parents. I unloaded all of the things I had taken to the festival last night, and searched the inside of my car for my wallet… all to no avail. That is, until I happened to grab by daughter’s bag from the trunk. Where, I found my wallet. Wrapped in one of her black shirts. Whelp, it’s too late to get my meds now.
I thank goodness for the fact that I can now shut myself in my studio and lose myself.
