Happy Birthday Trent Reznor!

I don’t just LIKE Nine Inch Nails. NIN is more than just my favorite band. I am completely obsessed and have been for more than 25 years. I wrote a research paper for my college Public Speaking class on Trent. I have seen him (because NIN IS Trent Reznor) in concert more than any other band. I still get butterflies with I listen to “And All That Could’ve Been” (my favorite song). His voice still makes me gooey inside. His music still provokes and soothes all of my emotions. I can lose myself in it. I do lose myself in it. I have multiple NIN tattoos. I have all of the CDs… ALL OF THEM. I have concert posters and album covers hanging on the wall. I am completely obsessed. Being my hyper fixated self, it shows my true dedication when I haven’t lost any interest in more than two decades. To be honest, Trent’s music has saved me, more than once.

I worship the very ground he walks on.
