Painting… walls

Got a lot of painting done today… wall painting, that is.

Well, I guess the bright side of my kiddos softball team getting knocked out of the tournament early is, we got the rest of the day to ourselves. I used my time to go over to my studio and start painting the walls.

I wasn’t going to paint them, at first. But, I am going to start recording a podcast early 2024, and includes video. I don’t think that grungy off-white walls that haven’t been updated since the mid 90’s is really the look I’m going for. Besides, I’m going to add a much of music memorabilia, including a LOT of Sleep Token… and they deserve fresh walls.

To save money, I’m using the left over paint from my house. My back wall is going to be the dark grey of my daughter’s bedroom, I’ll have one wall that is a pale blue, and the rest is going to be the white of my parent’s walls. Waste not, want not.

Although, looking at myself after I was done, I may have gotten more on me than the actual wall.
