Before dawn

You know you’re a sports parent when you wake up earlier on your day off than you do on days you work.

The kiddo has a tournament this weekend and I’m already anticipating the exhaustion. While I appreciate her coach requesting the early games on Saturday, because it is nice to be done early, I just need at least one day where I don’t require an alarm to wake up.

Despite the complaints, I am glad to see her on the field again… even if it’s the butt crack of dawn.
