Day with my baby

It was Mother-Daughter Day.

My kiddo needed a break. She needed a day out of the house, doing things that don’t make her think of all of her stressors. So, that’s what we did. We went to Barns & Nobel - because books are awesome. Then Burlington, where she got a new outfit and I picked up more candles… because I LOVE candles. Then lunch at Mimi’s, where she had pasta (as usual) and I just sipped a lavender latte and ate a croissant. Then off to the galleria where she got another outfit, I picked up some macarons (delicious), and was generally made to feel old. Did you know that cargo jeans are back in style? The clothes that were on display made me feel as if I had made a time jump back my high school days. Ugh. We made it home fairly early, and I was able to get some more painting and jewelry done.

It was a good day.
