Knock on wood… maybe… JUST MAYBE my luck is changing. Maybe. Last night was EPIC. First, we drove to Reno, it was a relatively smooth drive. Had an easy check-in to my FREE room. Then I got to play on the slot machines using $100 of Free Play. And you know what happened? Medusa. Medusa happened. I always knew I liked her. I sat down at a Medusa penny machine, played the max bet ($3), and kept hitting the bonus! In the end, I left this morning with $700 of their money.

“And that’s not all!” she said in her best game show host voice. The boyfriend took me to a delicious sushi dinner and then we went to see Exodus and Testament! It was a great show! Even scored a signed copy of Testament’s newest CD for the boyfriend’s birthday (which is tomorrow).

When we came home, I immediately went to Michael’s. I bought an obscene amount of paint. So of course, I had to try it out. With this guy, I put down a couple strips of washi tape (I always want to call it washabi tape - like wasabi and washi combined), then poured my favorite color combo - teal and brown. Considering I have zero patience - even on Adderall - I took the tape of too early. That lead me to line the edges with gold leaving and fill the gap with white paint. Then I sprayed the hell out of it with gloss sealer.

All in all, this might be one of my favorites. Seriously, the photo doesn’t do it justice.
