Am I… happy???

What strange feeling is this? I woke up feeling… positive… dare I say… happy. I don’t know if it was being home. Or maybe it was that I got to actually sleep in. When I woke up, I felt motivated to do things. I have to go shopping today. Go to Costco for Thanksgiving dinner supplies, then maybe stop at Barnes & Nobel or Burlington for a few Christmas gifts. But first… coffee and painting.

My boyfriend brought me my coffee, like he does every morning, and my watercolor pens were still beside me from last night. I grabbed those and just started painting colors. When I was done, it looked like some dreamy landscape with cotton candy hills and a calm river, so I added the details. I added bare trees, but they just seemed out of place, so I took my silver chrome paint marker and added some foliage… voila! A magical, dreamy landscape.

I sure do hope this feeling lasts… now, off to Costco!
